Environmental Perception

PHULZAR
As part of 'ENVIRONMENTAL PERCEPTION', a four week module at National Institute of Design, we got the opportunity to travel to a small Village called Phulzar in Ghela Somnath, Gujarat, india. This modules helped to sensitize us, students to study the social, cultural and physical environment in which our design has to operate, so that it has a meaning or relevance to the people.
Our faculties encouraged us to develop the ability to approach and mix with the people in the environment to share experience and learn directly as they happen in life.

We learn to collect, analyze and represent macro to micro level information in the form of an illustrated document.
To broaden one’s perception about the Indian environment in terms of inter relationships andinterdependence of its physical components.
